Deemed Rates
Deemed rates (also known as out-of-contract rates), are rates that you will receive when your contract with us expires or is terminated and you have not signed a new contract or moved supplier, or in some other specific situations for which we will provide appropriate guidance at the time.
Remember, these rates, more often than not, are more expensive than when you're in a contract, so it's really important you take action when your contract is coming to an end.
Following rates are effective from 1st July 2023:
Our half hourly electricity single deemed rate is 34.97 p/kWh.
All electricity meters on our deemed rate will have a daily charge applied that is calculated specific to your site. This charge will be shown on your bill.
Our non half hourly electricity rates are
- Day rate: 41.89 p/kWh
- Night rate: 29.01 p/kWh
- Single rate: 38.44 p/kWh
All electricity meters on our deemed rate will have a daily charge applied that is calculated specific to your site. This charge will be shown on your bill.
Our gas deemed rate is 11.08 p/kWh plus a charge rate of 262 p/day.
NHH (non half-hourly) and HH (half-hourly) refers to the type of meter and how often it measures electricity data. HH measures data every 30 minutes and it’s typically used by higher consuming sites, whereas NHH measures data monthly or quarterly.
